ironSource Luna (recently merged with Unity) is looking for a Senior Backend/ Data Engineer to join our core Data team. We are building a central data team (almost from scratch) that will handle data, provide insights, and in the foreseeable future, will add ML to its stack. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems. For example, you’ll create algorithms and conduct statistical analysis. Overall, you’ll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals.

To succeed in this position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Your skills should also include familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of modern design patterns pertaining to high-scale, high-volume data flows.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years as a backend developer with a major backend language (Java, C#, Python)
• At least 2 years with large scale Data pipelines (data ETL)
• Proven experience working with other seniors within a mid-size team (at least 4 )
• Strong software design orientation and capabilities
• Highly proficient in working with RDBMS DBS - read/write complex queries and procedures.
• At least 3 years working hands-on against MSSQL/MySQL/Oracle
