The position:

Trigo is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer with software engineering skills and passion for infrastructure to join its DevOps team. The Trigo DevOps team builds, maintains, and scales both edge and cloud computing systems across the globe, in collaboration with its software and operations teams and its clients.

We are looking for candidates that share our passion for scaling complex systems containing unique compute abilities, IoT devices and cross-region network requirements. 


A day in the life:

Research, design, implement and test solutions that enable Trigo to onboard numerous stores, efficiently and at scale

Maintain deployment stacks across diverse edge data centers and cloud

Develop strong understanding and ownership of relevant product areas, codebases, and/or systems

Analyze, debug and fix intricate system problems across the systems spectrum

Share on-call responsibilities and manage site incidents with the R&D department

Manage and monitor diverse environments at large scale

Collaborate with software and operation teams to deliver the highest standards of efficiency and delivery for the entire organization


You bring to the table:

At least 3 years of experience with Python / Rust / Go

Experience in writing code for infrastructure, networks, configuration management, and resource optimization

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms and cloud providers (GCP preferred)

Experience in independently owning end-to-end projects, from research to delivery and production

Understanding of microservice architectures and experience in developing/deploying microservices

Ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and explain solutions 


Nice to have:

Experience in managing Linux environments

Experience with event-based, message-driven distributed systems

Experience with software monitoring and logging systems

Kubernetes internals (CNI/CRI/CSI, controllers and custom resources)
