We are looking for a Software Development Manager to be part of a winning team developing new and emerging product for the academic research community on top of Ex Libris rich and solid SaaS platform.

About You – Experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development (Web Applications)
• 2+ years of team leading in a software development environment.
• B.Sc. in Computer Sciences/Software Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
• Experience in Java and Angular
• High level of English – both written and spoken.

It would be great if you also had....

• Experience with front-end technologies.
• Experience with SaaS software solutions.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Developing new and emerging product for the academic research community.
• Leading and motivating a team of developers.
• Ability to comprehend business requirements and software specification documents.
• Troubleshooting and break down complex issues.

Product you will be developing:

Esploro is a SaaS product in the “Research Information Management” space. It helps researchers and Research Office professionals in the academic world to gather, store analyse and share research data.

Hours of Work / More important information for you:

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid mode. This is a full-time position.
