Unity (merged with ironSource) is looking for a talented Team Leader to join its R&D mobile division. The ideal candidate is curious, diligent, innovative and a problem solver. A team player with a strong motivation to excel and great interpersonal and communication skills. As part of this role you will lead a team in the Mediation SDK Group, a monetization solution that lets app developers manage and optimize multiple ad networks with just one SDK and is used by hundreds of millions of users every day.
What you will do:
- Manage a team of 4 people, both developers and quality engineers
- Work with our technical leaders to set out a vision for our mobile engineering
- Design and lead complex features in Unity's world leading SDK for both Android and iOS
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating the Mediation SDK team
- Coach, guide and mentor mobile developers and quality engineers to grow into their work
- Take part in product definition working with our product managers
- Work with the team on estimating the feasibility and complexity of new products/features
- Participate in the planning process for software development projects, and ensure meeting quality and deadlines on delivery
- Ensure delivering the required software quality and reliability of the entire team's output
What you will need:
- 2+ years experience in mobile development in any of the following languages: Java/Kotlin/Objective-C/Swift
- 2+ years of experience in team management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Excellent software design and problem solving skills
- Quick learner, comfortable taking on new technologies and challenges
- B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent
