Our Dream Candidate

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Engineering Team Leader, a true tech visionary with extensive hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end software engineering. Your role will be to lead our dynamic core product team, which is dedicated to crafting an ingenious solution fueled by cutting-edge technology to combat fraud. Our mission is clear: empower our clients with ironclad protection against chargebacks, safeguarding their revenue streams and unlocking the full potential of their profits. Key Duties

• Take the leading role in the team of talented engineers, share your experience and demonstrate your expertise building our market-leading product
• Use best-of-class tools and technologies for frontend development
• Design and implement the infrastructure of our system including both the front-end and back-end
• Build a highly scalable data platform for diversified and complex data flows
• Have end-to-end ownership: Design, build, ship, measure, and maintain our backend services. You build it — you own it
• Work closely with our fantastic Product team that created an industry-leading SaaS Product-Led-Growth offering

Requirements

Desired Qualifications

• 5+ Years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development – Ideally JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proven experience of leading team of 4+ engineers. Multiple teams — big advantage
• High proficiency in front-end web development using React.js
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience building infrastructure, choosing and integrating tools and best practices around development speed, velocity and standardization — advantage
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and modular code, and perform code reviews for the team members
• Good understanding of user experience (UX) principles and ability to translate design mockups into interactive components
• Awareness of performance optimization techniques for web applications and backends
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in designing and maintaining microservices and FaaS
• Experience with cloud infrastructures and architectures – specifically AWS
• Experience working with both NoSQL and relational databases. Mongodb - advantage
• BSc in computer science or equivalent – advantage
