The ideal candidate is a team player, who will proactively seek ways to improve and optimize the system. Working with high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance. The position requires a high level of experience and the ability to work on features, from design through implementation to delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Learn quickly and independently, maintain close ties to engineers and product managers
2. Collaborate with the global R&D team to determine technical requirements for new software and features
3. Create and design high-scale, high-availability services, engines, and components for new and existing features according to the company roadmap
4. Adapt new and existing Cynamics codebases to new environments and customers, in accordance with compliance requirements
5. Be a part of the technical roadmap definition and prioritization processes to facilitate the use of new technologies and development processes
6. Develop high-level product specifications with attention to scale, reliability, and robustness, taking into account deadlines and startup mentality
7. Communicate successfully all software designs to engineering team members
8. Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
9. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to R&D team members

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience with Python - a must
2. 3+ years of experience with Go - a must
3. Familiarity with AWS Cloud services - a must
4. Familiarity with Docker containers and K8 - a must
5. Experience with version control systems and workflow - a must
6. Knowledge in software architecture patterns and best practices - an advantage
7. Familiarity with node.js/TypeScript - an advantage
8. Experience with terraform and CloudFormation - an advantage
9. Experience with on-prem high-scale systems - an advantage
10. Strong technical background and problem solving skills
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as organizational skills
