Software Engineering Team Lead

About the Job

We are looking for a team lead who brings both managerial and technical skills to lead our team within our core trading group.

Your primary focus is your team and the people in it, and we expect you to build a great team with high performing culture and values.

The key responsibility for this role is to lead a strong team of ±10 cross-functional engineers, focusing on the membership domains.

Membership domain focuses on creating, managing, and verifying the digital entity of a customer - ranging from Registration, Authentication, Bot-Stopping, customer management, and more.

What you’ll do

• Continuously inspire and develop your team of engineers
• Evangelize best engineering practices focusing on Agile\Scrum.
• Collaborate with other development teams, product managers, UI\UX designers, and others to maintain high levels of visibility, efficiency, and collaboration
• Play a key role in architectural and strategic decisions
• Work with the recruiting team to attract and retain high-quality talent

Who you are

• You know what it takes to build a team, you believe in agile & and lean values and you are a servant leader
• You have a solid technical background, from the C#\Java service-oriented backend side.
• You are also well-versed in engineering practices around distributed systems, iterative and incremental development, and what it takes to build a strong engineering culture.
• You bring energy, positivity, and drive to the teams you work with. You focus on solutions, and trade-offs based on data and business expertise and bring a can-do approach.
• You have managed a team before and have experience in growing and mentoring engineers.
• While the focus of the team-lead role is on people rather than technology, we are open to applicants who also want to remain hands-on technical contributors, if that is how to best maximize their impact on the success of our teams - Advantage.

The position is located in Haifa R&D Center.
