We are looking for a talented Architect to join SolarEdge software core services group. You will contribute to the architecture and design of the infrastructure layer of SolarEdge server/cloud software.

The job requires a deep understating of building scalable, high throughput data pipes, along with data service and apis.

Leading in this domain requires in addition to the relevant skills also high motivation and willingness to excel.

The position requires hands on work.

what you will be doing:

• Lead and participate in designs and architecture definitions of the server/cloud software and core services.
• Lead and participate in POCs and other early-stage projects.
• Contribute code to new and live services.
• Provide technical guidance to the teams and offer support and assistance during different stages of the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Technical Leading experience
• Proven experience in designing and developing high-throughput data pipes and data driven services
• Familiarity with different databases and data technologies
• Significant experience with the Kafka ecosystem mainly Kafka-Streams
• Experience in Java and Spring Boot applications
• Backend Engineer with at least 5 years of experience
• Experience with event-driven / distributed systems
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
• Experience with microservice-based architecture
