IRP is developing the next generation of e-powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicles market and we are seeking an experienced, passionate Control Software Engineer to join us. This is a unique opportunity to join IRP’s SW team in developing state-of-the-art control algorithms software.
Job description:
- Develop and implement complex real-time sequences.
- Design for integration with automotive hardware systems and work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Matlab and C real-time \ embedded programming.
- Design and implement control algorithms for automotive applications.
- Optimize code on embedded CPUs.
Job requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in bare metal real-time embedded design and implementation.
- B.Sc degree in electrical engineering or other relevant degrees.
- C - professional
- Knowledge in the areas of electronic circuits, microcontroller architectures.
- Experience with communication protocols (CAN-bus, RS-232/422/485 etc.)
- Proficiency with model-based design workflows in MATLAB, Simulink for code generation.
- Understanding electrical and electronic schematics.
- Self-learner, with a passion for new technologies.
- Team player with a can-do attitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge in control system theory and applications - advantage
- Automotive experience - advantage
