We seek a passionate, software-oriented,
Embedded System Engineer to join the R&D team, in our TLV Site.
You will participate in various ongoing proofs-of-concept (POCs) and help with defining and leading new ones. You will collaborate with other engineers and researchers to design, develop, and test innovative solutions for various challenges. You will also contribute to the academic research behind these projects, and ensure that the code and hardware are robust and maintainable. You will be part of a dynamic and creative team that values curiosity, initiative, and excellence.
Responsibilities - what you’ll be doing:
- Analyze the requirements and specifications of the embedded system project
- Select the correct embedded system's correct hardware and software components, tools, and platforms for implementing embedded system
- Write, modify, and optimize the code for the embedded system using programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, etc
- Conducting experiments and collecting data to evaluate the performance and feasibility of the proposed solutions
- Writing technical reports to document the methods, results, and challenges of the designed systems
- Collaborating with other team members and external partners to share ideas, feedback, and best practices
Requirements:
Requirements - does this describe you?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/HW engineering
- At least 3-5 years of experience in multidisciplinary complex electrical systems
- Actual prototyping experience for rapid development - HW+SW
- Embedded real-time programming experience (C/C++, Rust, etc.)
Advantages:
- PCB design experience
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience in automotive electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with Nvidia Jetson
- Experience with Python development
