We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader, who has a passion for taking up innovative technologies, processes, and tools to make constant improvements. 

Responsibilities:

• Establish the Platform Engineering domain in SolarEdge. Build, lead, and mentor a team of multidisciplinary engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise in the domain.
• Set up and evolve our Internal Development Platform Portal, defining the architecture and flows in the Service Catalog, including the onboarding of the existing fleet of services.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Operations, and QA, to ensure smooth integration of new features and services into the platform.
• Continuously improve the platform's performance, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SRE and Platform Engineering, and leverage that knowledge to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Principal SW Engineer, Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Manager, leading a team of Backend/DevOps engineers.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience implementing a Service Catalog with Backstage or similar technology, including customizations and model extensions. - Must
• Automation and standardization of processes around the catalog, from service onboarding to infrastructure provisioning. - Must
• Proficiency in containerization and deployment orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Pulumi, Terraform). - Must
• Framework-level understanding of large-scale, distributed systems built with Spring Boot and Kafka Stream is a plus. Relevant experience in Node and Typescript is highly desired. - Big Advantage
• Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go). - Big Advantage
• Highly experienced in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and incident management systems. - Big Advantage
