As a Computer Science Student - Data ETL Developer at Cognyte, you will immerse yourself in the fascinating world of data engineering and play a pivotal role in developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. You will work closely with a dynamic and diverse team, collaborate on challenging projects, and gain hands-on experience in data design and transformation.
Your Impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into our data analytics platform.
- Think critically about data design at a technical level, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Write comprehensive technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues, conducting debugging and optimization as needed.
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic team to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with the R&D teams to optimize the product delivery processes.
Requirements:
Your tool box
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Advantage
- Familiarity with database systems, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
- A passion for data engineering and a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
