We’re looking for a SW architect to join the amazing architect’s team of Perimeter 81.

This role is perfect for a highly experienced software architect with high development skills, hands-on in developing applications on various operating systems, deep understanding of design patterns, OS kernel as well as wide view for cloud system architecture.

As an integral part of our R&D, you’ll be working with a motivated architects team and development group, be responsible for architecting the next generation of Firewall as a service and zero trust applications. You’ll need to have a profound understanding of networking protocols, endpoint applications and cloud base systems.

Job Description

• Define and manage the system architecture and the data flows.
• Manage and improve the cloud architecture and system microservices
• Research and create proofs-of-concept (POC) for new technologies
• Cooperate with developers and product managers as part of the execution process
• Review and mentor developers with their software designs
• Initiate and innovate to promote business needs

Requirements

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in software design and system architecture
• At least 5 years of experience in developing server side network applications and cloud BE systems
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services architecture and component like, rabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka, Microservices, Lambdas and more
• Experience in writing SW high level design, and system architecture
• Deep understanding of SW design patterns
• Deep experience in AWS flows Have a team-first approach, along with strong management and personal communication skills

Advantage

• Experience in all system layers from infrastructure/DBs/backend/frontend and their optimizations
• Passionate about guiding and mentoring software development engineers
• Good knowledge in network protocols – TCP/IP/HTTP/VPNs and secure communication.
• Knowledge with Continuous Integration (CI) Continuous Deployment (CD)
• Experience and hands-on development with TS/Java /Go/C++/C#
