Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced SRE Team Lead to join our dynamic and growing group in Netanya. This person will lead a newly established team of SRE analysts and engineers in charge of improving our operational excellence through SRE disciplines and will report to our Global Product Operations Lead. A successful candidate will have broad knowledge of the technical product lifecycle, development, devops and SRE practices. They will have a great grasp of how a resilient and well optimized product ecosystem should operate and will be able to lead a team to achieve the companies goals of continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Lead SRE analysts and engineers responsible for operational excellence of 24/7 product infrastcture.
• Collaborate and define monitoring tools with a dedicated NOC responsible for monitoring of production cloud environments and lead incident response activities.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the product lifecycle – product managers, development leads, devops, global support – to identify all critical production paths, architect appropriate processes and tools to improve reliability and influence the product lifecycle with the group insights.
• Create and track appropriate metrics and KPI’s to improve application availability, performance, efficiency, and cost.
• Lead initiatives to better isolate production environments and control product release while collaborating with devops and development teams.
• Influence global product operations through your SRE insights and collaboration with GRC and Security colleagues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in development, devops or SRE with cloud-based technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in a technology team leadership role.
• 5+ years of experience in a global technology company with multiple product lines.
• Extended experience in AWS expected. Azure - advantage
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Okta, IaC/ Terraform
• Hands-on experience with K8s and Microservices approach.
• Hands-on experience with Bash/Python (at least one) and understanding of the OOP concepts.
• Proven experience with Software and Infrastructure architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Pipelines, and Development workflow methodologies.
• Keen interest in learning new and emerging technologies and passion for innovation.
• Strong technical English language skills.
• Must be a team player!!!
• Nice to have requirements
• AWS Cloud security services such as AWS Security group, WAF, ACL, Shield, etc.
• Experience with a variety of open-source technologies and tools
• Familiar with GitOps work methodology
• Program management skills
