We’re looking for a highly skilled hands on Team Lead who will share his/her expertise to create the best game experience for our players around the world. As a team lead in Sciplay you will take a lead role in developing complex software systems to support a successful mobile game. You will be working close with product and management teams to collect requirements and improve the game’s UX and technical KPIs. You will work in one of the most leading social gaming companies worldwide in a company that offers learning & development opportunities to its engineers, including building your own career roadmap for your growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of developers - mentor, coach and create best practices and technical guidance
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software for a mobile game
• Analyze, identify, and eliminate bottlenecks and errors on the server and client side and ensure efficiency and reliability of code
• Contribute to the development of new/innovative game play features and interfaces
• Estimate engineering efforts, plan implementations, and help roll out system changes
• Develop backend code in PHP, Python and JavaScript
• Develop client code with C# on Unity

Requirements

What would make you a good fit? (Must Have's)

• Tech savvy and eager to learn new technologies
• Proven experience in managing development teams
• 5+ years of software development experience with either Unity experience or object-oriented languages
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proven work experience with real time and large-scale system
• Experienced with GIT
• A Team player

Will Be Nice To Have

• Developing complex backend systems in PHP
• Game Development experience
• Experience with SQL/ NoSQL Databases
• Experience working in an Agile methodology
