What are we looking for?

For one of Checkmarx's innovative and growing cloud/SaaS products, working in a startup vibe and developing a cool platform in the Application Security domain. We are working with the most cutting-edge technologies, building a new and exciting SaaS platform using mainly -Node js, Ruby, React, AWS, and more.

We are looking for a strong technology Manager of Engineering, to be part of the company's technological leadership team.

How will you make an impact?

You will assume three main responsibilities:

• Technological leader – leading web, data and client-server technologies. Responsible for quality technical design and implementation of an enterprise software product in the field of cybersecurity education.
• Lead and orchestrate – manage several development teams (including DevOps) to work effectively together in an Agile environment & have strong interfaces with other groups in R&D, Product, Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineers, and Customers.
• People manager – developing the group members, motivating the teams for excellence, supporting the product managers that interact with the group, and generating an atmosphere of trust, commitment, and professional attitude.
  
  

Requirements:

Industry experience in various roles:

• At least 5 years experience of hands-on development of complicated Web/Cloud multitenant systems (Client, Server side and DB)
• At least 2 years as a software development group manager.
  
  

Experience in managing agile teams and continuous integration processes for at least 2 years following the ramp-up stage. This should include:

• Building and managing multiple teams of developers – frontend and backend.
• Maintaining and continuously developing products in mass production.
• hands-on development experience building and bringing to market large-scale web applications using state-of-the-art technologies.
• Proven experience in design and architecting such products, emphasis on capacity and scale
• Enterprise software experience – a must.
• Proven experience with various design and architectural patterns. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Excellent communication, relationship management skills and collaborative style.
• Hands-on leader who can work closely with multiple levels within the organization and also be self-sufficient.
• Experience in integrating several web environments – an advantage
