JFrog is looking for a software engineer to join the Conan team in Madrid to develop Conan, the leading open source package manager for C and C++, used by thousands of companies around the world, from startups to Fortune 100 companies. In this role you will be a key part in the design, development, release and community support (via Github) of Conan, and also participate in maintaining ConanCenter, the public and central package repository.

As a Conan Software Engineer at JFrog you will…
  • Design, develop (Python), support (Github), document and maintain the Conan Client tool
  • Collaborate in the maintenance of ConanCenter central repository
  • Contribute to community engagement efforts via blog posts, attending conferences, and engaging with the community in public channels
To be a Conan Software Engineer at JFrog you need…
  • BSc in Computer Science or experience as a software engineer & developer: expertise in Git, testing, developing code (Python experience is an advantage), code reviews, continuous integration, releasing, etc
  • Experience in OSS communities and projects - an advantage
  • Experience with C and C++ build engineering or the C++ Eco system - an advantage
  • Good problem solving skills, and good communication skills
  • Written and spoken Spanish is recommended as you will work closely with the team in Madrid, as well as medium-level English
