Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Spots Core Platform applications using Java and related technologies, you will work closely with Spot’s Technological leaders and a team of experienced developers and contribute to the overall development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in cloud-based development and be part of a talented team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers and project stakeholders to understand software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Spots Core Platform applications using Java and related technologies, following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit testing and debugging of software applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and concepts.
• Proficiency in Java or C# programming languages and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. , with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their services.
• Basic knowledge of cloud-based development, including microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
