ASTERRA’s R&D is looking for a talented and enthusiastic mid to senior-level Full-stack developer to join our amazing team! As a Full Stack Developer, you will get the opportunity to further deepen your developing skills and help take our product to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Executing the company’s data flow & DB tasks
• Developing front & back-end website architecture
• Creating servers and databases for functionality
• Assist algorithm/software development tasks
• Performing a variety of Full stack development tasks

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Proven programming skills with NodeJS
• 5+ years of Proven web programming with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React
• Strong SQL skills
• An autodidact fast learner, self-starter, broad-minded with a “can do” approach
• Excellent analytical skills to identify problems and propose solutions
• Strong communication skills & ability to work in a team
• High English proficiency (writing, speaking & reading)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences/software engineering systems Engineering
• Experience with AWS/AZURE cloud environment
• Experience in design and development of large-scale web and mobile applications
• Proven experience with Python
• Additional programming languages: PHP, Angular
• Experience with GIS, Geospatial DB (PostGIS)
