What is your mission?

You will plan, design, and execute performance tests to assess the scalability, stability, and responsiveness of applications under different load conditions.

Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools to simulate realistic user scenarios and stress conditions.

Identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks using profiling tools, monitoring systems, and log analysis.

Analyze system metrics, resource utilization, and database performance to pinpoint areas for improvement.

Collaborate with software architects and developers to ensure applications are designed with scalability in mind.

Conduct capacity planning exercises to determine hardware, network, and infrastructure requirements for anticipated loads.

Work closely with development teams to implement performance optimizations, code changes, and configuration adjustments.

Fine-tune databases, application servers, and caching mechanisms to enhance overall system performance.

Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Document best practices, performance testing methodologies, and optimization techniques for future reference.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and performance engineering practices.

Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the performance engineering lifecycle.

Collaborate with QA teams, software engineers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure a unified approach to performance optimization.

Provide insights and guidance on performance-related matters during design and development phases.

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in performance engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, databases, networks, and web technologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, AppDynamics, Prometheus) to analyze system behavior.
• Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Java, Python, Shell scripting) to create custom performance tests and scripts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
