NetNut is looking for Java back-end tech lead to join our R&D team.

We are looking for a talented, experienced, hands-on engineer that will lead the development of cutting-edge new products and projects in line with the Product Innovation Strategy.

This role assists in driving proficiency within the team, assures best practices are followed, and supports the delivery of quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on designing from scratch, coding, and debugging, with emphasis on on-time and bug free deliverables.

• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications

• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

• Liaise with product management, support, and sales team to identify new features

• Follow emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Senior Back-end developer – at least 5 years

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment

• Hands on experience with Java, (C++ big advantage), nodeJS

• Working experience with SQL and NoSQL

• Experience in Big Data – a big advantage

• Working with customers’ experience

• Networks protocols – advantage

• A leader developer with managerial skills on one hand, and teamwork skills on the other. a problem-solving attitude and can-do approach.

• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
