About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and talented web developer to join our marketing team. As a WordPress Website Developer, you will play a critical role in building, enhancing, and maintaining our hibob.com site and other marketing web assets. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a seamless user experience, driving website traffic, and ultimately contributing to our revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Enhance the Website:
• Play a pivotal role with building our new website
• Utilize your front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, WordPress) skills to develop and test new features for the hibob.com website and localized sites.
• Ensure the website's responsiveness, optimal performance, and security best practices.
• Collaborate on Website Optimization:
• Partner with the SEO manager and CRO manager to optimize the website for increased traffic and improved conversion rates.
• Implement ideas to enhance the website's user experience (UX).
• Integrate Third-Party Tools:
• Orchestrate seamless integrations with various 3rd party tools, such as marketing automation platforms.
• Support traffic tracking and lead sources across subdomains using cookies and local storage.
• Implement tags through Google Tag Manager.
• Ensure Website Security:
• Collaborate with the security team to maintain a high level of website security.

Requirements

• Git and DevOps Experience:
• Proficiency in working with Git version control system to manage code repositories and facilitate collaborative development.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools to streamline website development and deployment processes.
• 5+ years of Full Stack WordPress Development Experience: Proven expertise in developing themes, templates, and plugins for WordPress.

• Strong Web Technology Knowledge: In-depth understanding of modern web technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3/SASS, and PHP.
• Web Performance Optimization: Solid understanding of web page and site performance fundamentals.
• Website Localization: Previous experience working with the WPML plugin for website localization.
• Uptime and Performance Monitoring: Demonstrated experience in monitoring website uptime and performance and proficiency in using monitoring tools to identify and address potential performance bottlenecks.
• Google Analytics and SEO: Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO optimization techniques.
• Ownership and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
