We are looking for an experienced, creative, and talented engineer to join our Professional Services team. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for integrating our products into a broader ecosystem, developing customer-facing collateral and tools, supporting and designing complex environments, and working as a trusted advisor to architect enterprise automation solutions. As a software engineer in Professional Services at INFINIDAT, you need to be innovative and passionate about quality. In this role you will develop automation tools for an enterprise-grade, distributed storage system. Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-based automation tools using our Python infrastructure
• Take an active role in our automation product architecture and design decisions
• Participate in all stages of the development process - from design to delivery
• Create detailed design and operational documentation
• Design test plans and methods for automation / integration code
• Investigate and solve problems in complex systems
• Analyze challenging customer requirements and propose technical solutions
• Manage the integration, deployment and execution of automation projects
• Convert expert knowledge of our systems into repeatable solutions
• Provide technical assistance to our PS field team
• Provide technical Support for customer escalations related to DevOps

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in developing test automation / automation tools for integrated SW/HW products
• Proven experience with Python, bash, and powershell programming languages
• Proven experience in Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
• Proven experience with complex large-scale systems
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components and how they are tracked and managed in various systems
• Excellent system diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Fast learner and independent
• Engineering degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-end IT systems and enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) in particular
• Networking and operating system internals knowledge
• Storage architecture and theory experience
• Outstanding new graduates will be considered
