Sentra is on a mission to enable cloud-driven organizations to regain control and secure their data. We are a fast-growing start-up company, located in the heart of Tel Aviv with a very strong founding team. We are looking to recruit talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our leading R&D team on a journey to promote Sentra to cloud-based companies across the globe.

About the team:

Scout team is composed of talented engineers and is responsible for building Sentra’s scanning mechanism - from the deployment in the customer environments to the design and implementation of the scanning architecture and the scanning itself.

As a member of Scout team, you will be responsible for looking deep into the internals of cloud platforms, designing and developing scalable solutions. You will play a crucial role in Sentra's multi-cloud scanning component. Additionally, you will interact with the rest of the R&D teams, product managers, and customer-facing solution engineers. This collaboration will enable you to deliver end-to-end features and tackle complex engineering challenges.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in building backend software using a high-level language such as Python.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and scale of SaaS B2B solutions with infrastructure on public cloud.
• Experience in writing Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Experience in architecting and developing cloud large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience in cloud networking and compute/serverless technologies.
• Experienced in working with micro-service architecture & cloud-native services.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, algorithms, etc.
• A Customer oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated and passionate attitude.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• A great team player and collaborative team member.
• Knowledge in the Cyber Security domain - advantage.
