We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join Check Point’s SASE client team. SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) is the convergence of networking and security as cloud services, it is a scalable architecture that enables people to connect to organizational cloud applications from either their office or remote location.
You will be a member of the developing team of our SASE client solution, part of the Harmony Connect product which is used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. You will also be involved in responding to events that occur in the field, investing them and issuing fixes when needed.
In general, Check Point Harmony Connect product family introduces state-of-the-art technologies in the SASE world, it redefines SASE by making access to corporate applications, SaaS and the internet simple for any user or branch, from any device, without compromising security.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- Develop Backend (and some Frontend) code for the most popular operating systems - Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Work with a wide spectrum of cutting-edge technologies.
- Take part in decision making, architecture design and technology research.
- Be part of an organic team developing in a fast paced environment based on CI/CD.
Your Knowledge & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in development of large, high-scale, distributed software systems.
- 2+ years of experience in full-stack development (preferably Node.js/TypeScript/Go/React).
- BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Experience in development on Window/macOS/Linux (macOS - big advantage).
- Knowledge in networking (Layers 2/3/4).
- Solid skills in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Self-motivated and target driven with a positive “Can do” attitude.
- Flexibility and versatility, creative thinking, passion to build new systems and improve existing ones.
- Ability to learn new technologies fast.
Advantages:
- Experience with development in Electron framework.
- Cybersecurity experience or exposure to Windows/macOS endpoint security platforms.
- Having worked with more than one OS.
- Experience managing escalations or issues requiring highly coordinated efforts to identify service restoration.
