Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team at Housetable. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining our web-based applications and services that drive our core business operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to create exceptional user experiences and scalable solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the way millions of homeowners access and benefit from affordable home renovation loans.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements for our web-based applications using modern full-stack technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Build reusable and maintainable code, libraries, and frameworks that adhere to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and participate in technical discussions to ensure high-quality code and robust system architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve our products and processes.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer.
• Expertise with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Node.js, with a proven track record of developing scalable and responsive web applications.
• Experience working with internal APIs and integrating third-party APIs into applications.
• Strong proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, ensuring high-quality code through comprehensive test coverage.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
