We are hiring a Frontend Tech Lead

Fiverr Enterprise is a Freelance Management System (FMS) which enables you and your team to hire, onboard and manage freelancers more effectively, while ensuring legal & tax compliance. Our platform reduces the time your team spends chasing after — and worrying over — sourcing talents, legal docs, tax forms, payment terms, budget approvals, granting system access and much more. It will provide your team with full visibility and total control over every single contractor your company works with — and every single project they’re working on from all aspects.

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure, in a pure serverless environment utilizing multiple AWS services. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Our work model is hybrid, combining remote and on-site work. This allows us to get things done when and where we are most productive.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new libraries, tools, and frameworks that can improve the team's productivity and enhance the application's performance.
• Champion best practices in React and Redux development, promoting modularization, code reusability, and maintainability. Encourage the adoption of industry standards and design patterns within the team.
• Educate team members on the advantages and potential pitfalls of different technological choices.
• Proactively identify technical debt and areas for improvement in the existing codebase. Suggest modernization strategies and advocate for upgrading or refactoring certain components or modules to align with the latest best practices.
• Stay hands on and develop new user-facing features using React.js and Redux.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with serverless application model (on AWS) is a great plus
