Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Development Manager with a strong background in 3D technology to lead our desktop software development group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of cutting-edge 3D software solutions, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the 3D technology domain.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the software development group, assisting them in solving complex problems related to 3D technology and software development.
• Project Management: Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment. Ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet established deadlines.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a group of squads: 3D developers, computer graphics developers, Algorithm developers
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging professional growth and skill development.
• 3D Software Development: Drive the design, architecture, and development of 3D software applications, tools, and frameworks. Ensure the use of best practices and modern software development methodologies.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of robust testing and quality assurance processes to deliver high-performance, reliable, and bug-free 3D software products.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and priorities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technology strategies with business goals.
• Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in 3D technology and software development. Propose and explore new ideas, techniques, and technologies to improve product offerings and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of software architecture, designs, and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in software development, with a focus on 3D technology and applications.
• Previous experience (typically 3+ years) in a leadership or management role, leading software development teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in 3D development, including C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of 3D graphics concepts, algorithms, and libraries (e.g., Metal, Vulkan, OpenGL, Direct3D, Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of 3D technology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering successful software projects on time and within budget.
