What you will be doing:
- Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems for our IoT device, including board-level design and PCB development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for hardware and software components.
- Architect and implement efficient software solutions, leveraging your hardware design knowledge and software development skills.
- Design and develop PCB layouts and schematics, ensuring optimal performance and signal integrity.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of hardware components and systems, addressing any issues and optimizing performance.
- Integrate hardware components with software systems and network protocols to ensure seamless connectivity and communication.
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to source and integrate necessary components and technologies into our systems.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in hardware design, including board-level design, PCB development, and signal integrity analysis.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hardware and Software Engineer, with a strong focus on hardware design and software development.
- Proficient in designing and developing PCB layouts and schematics using industry-standard software tools.
- Strong knowledge and experience in software development, with hands-on experience in Python, and software frameworks.
- Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, and wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
- Familiarity with modems and their integration within hardware and software systems.
- Solid understanding of electronics principles, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
