As the MDE Automation TL, you will be responsible for leading a team of automation engineers to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for our PC and mobile applications. Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and guidance to the automation team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Set clear goals and expectations for the team, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Facilitate team development through mentoring, coaching, and training initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to define and refine the mobile automation strategy and roadmap.
Identify opportunities to enhance test automation coverage and effectiveness across various platforms and OS.
Lead the development of automated test scripts and frameworks for PC and mobile applications using industry-standard and proprietary tools and technologies.
Ensure that automated test suites are scalable, maintainable, and reliable, and continuously optimize them to keep pace with app updates and changes.
Collaborate with other teams, such as development, product management, and quality assurance, to improve processes and deliver exceptional products.

Qualifications
What We are lookin for?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7 years) as a software developer Engineer.
- Proven experience (3 years) as an Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on mobile automation (iOS/Android).
- Proven experience in design and creation of test infrastructure from scratch
- In-depth knowledge of mobile automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest, etc.). Demonstrated at least 2 years of leadership experience, including managing of software development engineers (Automation or not).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile automation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with cloud-based testing services (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Firebase Test Lab) - advantage
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing for mobile applications. - advantage
- Highly proficient with Python - Advantage
- Highly proficient with Javascript/Typescript - Advantage

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
