About the role:

We are seeking for Software Infrastructure Engineer with a deep knowledge of CICS applications to be part of our professional technology team .you will be responsible for developing and monitoring the infrastructure, as well as collaborating with other team members to build automation methods and deployment procedures. You will become an essential member of the team, treating every platform challenge as your own and fixing it properly.

This position can fit to developer that wants to grow and become the software infrastructure engineer of Surecomp's development center and combine in his work system integration capability and other way

Most important skills are trouble shooting and self-learning and working with supports (IBM/Oracle/etc.)

In addition, You will be actively involved in all steps of the product development, DevOps and maintenance. Challenging tasks await you, such as:

What your job will look like?

• Study and become the owner of the product's software infrastructure
• Design and apply technical enhancements to the software framework
• Become the CICS experts for developers and implementations
• Take an active part of R&D activities as the technical expert and software architect
• Create tools to assist teams in making the most of the available infrastructure
• Diagnoses, isolates and debugs Infrastructure software problems and perform problem resolution
• Monitor the systems availability and provide technical support
• Join Open platforms Devops tasks

ALL YOU NEED IS...

Knowledge and Experience:

• Working knowledge as a Mainframe programmer with COBOL and DB2
• Deep understanding and working knowledge of CICS services for developers
• Knowledge of CICS administration
• familiarity with MQ , TCP/IP, LE, VTAM, VSAM, RACF, WebSphere, WebLogic
• Working Knowledge on AIX, Linux and Windows will be an advantage

Skills:

• 5+ yeas of work in a CICS environments
• Proven excellency in the last role
• Motivated to study in order to become Surecomp's Software Infrastructure Engineer
• Quick learner and have great attention to details
• Ability to work and deliver in a stressed environment
• Ability to work effectively within a team, both taking direction from and supporting other colleagues
• Motivated team player who helps drive the team forward
• Service oriented with great communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work flexible and sometimes long hours as workload demands.
• IT certifications - An advantage
• Availability to work on weekends during special events
