About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to revolutionize the trillion-dollar corporate debt market with us. As a Senior Python Developer, you will join a tight-knit, growing team with the opportunity to grow and mentor others. You will develop, test, and debug Python-based LAMBDAs deployed on AWS. Using Python, you will translate our algorithms and business logic to be production-ready deployed on LQC cloud-based systems.

If you are a driven Data Engineer, and you have 5+ years of experience with Python, we are looking for you!

You will:

• Develop Python-based applications
• Develop Python FaaS to be deployed as LAMBDAs on AWS
• Working with Python based data pipelines
• Maintain existing code
• Refactor and improve implementations for enhancing performance
• Implement new features
• Improve modularity

You have:

• 5+ experience in programming with Python
• Data engineer background, working with packages like Pandas or NumPy
• Ability to understand statistics and functions
• Develop Python FaaS to be deployed as Lambdas on AWS
• Familiarity with AWS Lambdas and common services
• Rich experience in working with SQL and relational DBs
• Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required
• Experience in working with NoSQL DBs- an advantage
• Familiarity with basic scientific packages (scipy, scikit‑learn) - an advantage
• Familiarity with LAMBDA oriented services (like Step-Function, fast API) - an advantage
