R&D Team Leader - JFrog Connect

A new exciting group at JFrog, the company reinventing DevOps to help the world’s greatest companies innovate, is leading the world of the Internet of Things (IoT) by building the next solution for connected devices: from home TVs to airplanes and robots. The solution is already in production, connecting hardware and software to the cloud. The person joining the group will be part of a growing team building the future from the ground up, and experience the excitement of acquiring early-adopter customers from around the world.

We are seeking a super talented and highly motivated Team Leader to join our group, and be responsible for planning, coordinating and leading activities across the full delivery lifecycle, to ensure successful deliveries. You will also be responsible for the architecture and overall user experience. You'll have a vast end-to-end responsibility and accountability over the entire software delivery lifecycle. To join us, you need to demonstrate the ability for hands-on leadership and ensure you can offer guidance and support, as well as assisting developers at code level. Are you up for the challenge?

As an R&D Team Leader at JFrog Connect you will...
  • Lead a team of strong developers, working on large-scale, complex and cutting-edge systems
  • Be responsible for the training, mentoring, personal and technical growth of the developers on your team
  • Manage the delivery of multiple, complex, simultaneous development projects from design through to release
  • Ensure that risks and issues are identified and managed closely while driving all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
  • Make key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives
To be an R&D Team Leader at JFrog Connect you need…
  • 6+ years of experience programming in Python
  • Deep understanding of Cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes & CI/CD
  • Experienced troubleshooter, comfortable running CLI and log analysis tools
  • Comfortable with Linux
  • Experience in developing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems
  • Strong track record of leading and managing the delivery of software development projects, meeting key milestones and overcoming challenges
  • Previous experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design of high-scale distributed systems
  • Ability to manage, track and identify risks, bottlenecks and challenges ahead of time, and oversee technical coordination to resolve them
  • Great communication skills and the ability to share information clearly both externally and internally
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and driven team in a context-switching environment
