Linux kernel / Virtualization Engineer

Overview

Who are we?

Toga Networks / Huawei TRC define the next generation computing platform for cloud and on-premise deployments. We develop full-stack solution (processor, hypervisor, and OS components) to drive the future disaggregated computing datacenter. Led by industry veterans we offer a dynamic environment with the opportunity to influence large-scale computing deployment and to grow with it.

What will you be doing?

The specific project involves cutting edge technologies that can be even defined as futuristic. A real quantum leap in the datacenter disaggregation paradigm. The day to day will involve a mix of R&D and research work. The area of focus is kernel memory and PCIe layers and some work in Linux virtual environment.

What do we want to see?

  • Architects and developers with hands-on experience in Linux kernel memory management and/or virtualization.
  • - 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in Linux kernel development/hacking/research
  • System architecture and design skills
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and open-mind behavior
  • Self-motivated (“Rosh Gadol”) and self-learner. Capable of working with minimal supervision/guidance
  • Key technological topics – proven experience in one or more is required:

-Linux Kernel memory management (MMU)

-PCIe low level interface (PCIe config space, PCIe enumeration)

-Virtualization (KVM)

-Linux IO/Storage subsystem Device drivers development

-Working in Linux kernel open-source environment

Benefits:

  • Excellent team
  • Very interesting project

A place you can grow and evolve at.
