Android developer

X-trodes, a vibrant medical device company located in Herzelia, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Android developer to join our team. This opportunity is designed for an experienced Applications and BE developer with strong background in BLE and data communications methodologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience as an Android Developer, with a proven track record of designing and developing high-quality mobile applications.
• B.sc. in computer science or engineering
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with performance tuning, with a deep understanding of what it takes to create fast, responsive applications.
• Proficientcy in Java and Kotlin programming languages, with a passion for coding and an eye for detail.
• Familiarity with Git version control and continuous integration tools.
• Experience with BLE communication – a must
• 
  
• Experience with Agile development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and coding for automated testing
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and services.
• 
  
• Background in software security – an advantage
• Experience with working in a startup environment – an advantage
• Proficiency in iOS – an advantage
• Experience in medical device SW development – an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions to challenging problems.

Responsibilities

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.

·      Take ownership of the entire app development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

·      Architect and implement robust, scalable, and efficient solutions while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

·      Collaborate with designers and product managers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.

·      Continuously optimize application performance, ensuring smooth user experiences across different devices and screen sizes.

·      Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development, and proactively share knowledge with the team.
