We are looking for a skilled Development Team Leader to lead a significant team of passionate, talented, and diverse engineers.

You will:

The role includes both technical and managerial responsibilities, leading a team of 5 developers (initially) and hands-on work. Work closely with the product managers and establish a strong interface with the business teams:

• Play an active role in shaping product strategy based on what’s technically possible (and sometimes, find creative ways to make the impossible possible).
• meet our business goals from an engineering standpoint.
• Develop software components end-to-end, leading major features in Intango’s large scale, highly distributed solution.
• Handle complex challenges, large-scale, and high-performance requirements to extend our system’s efficiency and capabilities, and always make it better!
• Constantly re-invent and improve our infrastructures and our engineers.

Your Experience and Skills:

• At least 6 years experience developing complex systems, preferably with Java and Angular\ React
• Proven experience as a Team Leader of 5 engineers; Track record of leading and growing a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional development.
• Delivery oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and short release cycles.
• Experience implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, methodologies, testing practices and resolving blockage.
• Proven experience with relational and non-relational DBs.
• Ability to write high-performance, maintainable, reusable code and designs.
• Independent, curious, and autodidact with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Hibernate/JPA or similar.
• Experience in an online company.
