Travelier (Formally Bookaway Group) is looking for an experienced data engineer to join "Travelier Connect"- our new core R&D organization. As a member of the initial team, you will be responsible for designing and building a new core data platform infrastructure and services, together with experienced software engineers and architects. You will be involved in all aspects of the new system's development and will have a significant impact on its success.

Your Day 2 Day:

• Be a member of the initial team in charge of the design and creation of the organization’s brand-new data platform and data pipelines
• In charge of the development and maintenance of server-side microservices hosting data processes consolidating varied data types from multiple origins
• Development of cloud-related infrastructure for data engineering use
• Build core infrastructure for ML and AI models
  
  

Requirements:

• Experienced data engineer - has proven experience in building data pipelines from scratch, ETLs, and data processes.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in backend development (Preferably Python)
• Significant experience in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), preferably with Google BigQuery
• Experience in working in cloud environment (ideally GCP)
• Able to investigate and propagate new technologies
• Prior experience with data analysis methods and concepts, preferably using Pandas - advantage
• Experience with GitHub – advantage
• Experience with AirFlow and DBT - advantage
• B.Sc. in Computer Science/equivalent (Master in Computer Science is a plus)
