What will you do?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead for the BI Group to join our BI group. As a key member of our BI group you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making by providing the necessary technical guidance and support to drive effective BI solutions. Your technical and modeling expertise, Tableau, connecting business needs to data design will be crucial in supporting the BI teams to become exceptional .

As a team player and mentor, you will bring an enthusiasm that inspires and motivates your colleagues. you will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering our BI and data analysts to extract actionable insights from data in the most efficient and accurate way. You will work closely with our BI and data engineering team, while providing the necessary technical guidance and support to drive effective BI solutions

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Lead new data models projects from assessment and understanding the intrinsic aspects for the business process and insights needs, through creation of detailed design papers and source to target documentation, while ensuring data integrity, efficient data retrieval, and scalability.
• Ensure that our data modelling, reporting and dashboarding solutions are designed, in sync, and implemented to meet our business needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the BI and data analysts in their data modeling, analysis, and reporting tasks, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the BI team, identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
• Developing best practices and methodologies for the BI and data analysts
• Design and implement scalable Data Validation Framework to ensure our data outputs are trustworthy.
• Manage our Tableau servers ensuring servers health for efficient performance and ongoing monitoring and enhancements

Requirements

What We'd Love To See

• 7+ years of experience as BI developer working on end-to end projects from business assessment through ETL processes, to visualization
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role within the BI domain, with a focus on supporting BI and data analysts.
• Proven experience in performing detailed design projects, in complex projects
• High proficiency in SQL -must
• Strong expertise in BI tools and technologies, such as data warehousing, ETL processes, and visualization tools.
• Experience with Tableau server and front-end development – Must
• Experience working with Snowflake – Must
• Experience with DBT and Fivetran – Big advantage
• Experience with Salesforce and querying objects data – a must
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion to mentor and collaborate
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to work independently and to lead complex projects involving cross-functional teams and groups
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and support BI and data analysts in their work.
• Strong understanding of B2B SaaS business models – big advantage
• Must be a Team player that people love to engage with and get advice from
• BSc/BA or higher in a quantitative field such as Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
