Position Description:

Ex-Libris is seeking a Development Manager looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, who will be part of a winning team developing a new and emerging product for the academic research community on top of Ex Libris rich and solid SaaS platform.

Relevant education:

• B.Sc. in Computer Sciences/Software Engineering from a recognized academic institution
  
  

Required professional experience:

• 6+ years of experience in developing Web applications.
• 2+ years of team leading in a software development environment.
• Proven experience with server-side technologies (Java/JEE).
• Experience with SaaS software solutions.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat
• Ability to act as a mentor.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to comprehend business requirements and software specification documents.
• Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to break down complex issues.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Experience with front-end technologies – Advantage
