Overview


We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer who is passionate about technology, wants to move fast, is capable of breaking down complex problems, and has a strong will to get things done. We are looking for someone with experience in building scalable, secure, and performant web services using cutting-edge technologies where “good is never good enough”. If you want to apply your tech-coding, design & leadership/mentoring skills to have a significant impact on people worldwide and want to be part of disrupting the legal services industry - this is the role for you!


What You'll Do


  • Experience in multiple server-side programming languages.
  • Experience building natively on the cloud - using serverless technologies where relevant.
  • Experience creating backend systems that scale by leveraging SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Stay abreast of developments and trends in Cloud architectures, web dev, and programming languages.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships/alignment with partners across the business.


Who You Are


  • 5+ years of professional backend development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • Experience with GraphQL - advantage.
  • Experience Typescript and Nodejs - advantage.
  • Experience with working with relational & NoSQL DB - advantage.
  • Experience with AWS Serverless technologies.
  • Experience with developing scalable and production-ready systems on scale.
