Job Summary

Spot by Netapp is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team and lead a team of developers in designing and maintaining our high-end products. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing scalable and efficient software solutions based on microservices architecture, databases, and APIs. Your role will also involve leading a team of developers to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor a team of developers, as a technical leader in designing, developing, and maintaining code that supports the needs of our business.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the industry.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of software development experience, technical leadership experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of K8s eco system with proven working experience
• Experience in software development for SAAS products (with one or more programming languages), (e.g., Java, GO, C#, Python, C++ etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Deep knowledge of databases and data collection processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Apache-Kafka is an advantage.
• Experience in machine learning is a significant advantage.
