Responsibilities:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and React space.
• Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with React.js and all project dependencies.
• Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices.
• Collaborating with the back-end developers when necessary to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies.
• Interfacing with SQL Server databases to extract data for use in the front-end application, or to understand and debug data-related issues.
• Using Jira for project management and tracking tasks.
• Working efficiently within the GIT workflow.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
• 2+ years of experience with React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with back-end development, particularly with .NET Core, is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
• Experience with Jira for project management.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
