ironSource (Recently merged with Unity) is looking for an excellent experienced backend team leader to join our R&D engineering group and manage and lead one of our Data-Science infrastructures team.

In this role, you will take an integral part in designing, building and maintaining backend services as well as ML tools & pipelines.

The work includes working in Scala as well as Python, while using technologies like Spark, Airflow, Kubeflow, Kafka and other huge data frameworks.

Using cutting edge technologies, with an emphasis on high performance, scalability and availability.

What you will need:

• 2+ years of experience managing backend teams.
• Extensive experience in design and development backend services.
• At least 4 years of experience in server-side development with one or more of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go
• B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with high scale production environments
• Experience in Agile development, including CI/CD and automated testing
• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
