monday.com 's makers team is expanding and looking for a Makers Team Leader to join the team. If you consider yourself a maker - a continuously learning multidisciplinary builder who is passionate and experienced in creation and innovation - this could be your dream job!

We are on a mission to make people's work simpler, more productive, and enjoyable. The makers' team builds experimental products, interactive art, and games in order to make the office a more cool, smart, and fun place. The team works like a startup within a startup. We use software, electronics, laser cutting, woodworking, 3d printing, and many more tools in our day to day. We have projects running on microcontrollers such as Arduino / ESP8266 / ESP32, on Raspberry Pi's, on PC's and macs, and on servers such as AWS and Google Cloud.

Our ideal candidate is a tech-savvy person who can lead our efforts in pioneering the “future of work” and executing it. You will take projects from initiation all the way to implementation and optimization. We're looking for an experienced software developer to join the team and lead all aspects related to software (web, desktop, or devices).

About The Role

• Hands-on, solution-oriented & maker-grade software developer; ability to build product prototypes for problems no one else can
• Create products employees need and love, focus on impact-driving efforts
• Lead the creation of new products; iterate, adjust and optimize them, reaching successful, sticky products
• Comprehensively evaluate the product you’re working on through qualitative methods, shape and define the product strategy and define relevant KPIs
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Makers, consolidating different skill sets toward impact

Requirements

• You are a maker in your soul with a strong technology background - full-stack software developer is a must (JS). Electronics, hardware, 3D printing, and other maker skills are an advantage.
• 5 years of former experience in people management
• You are a fast learner, adaptive, and thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• You possess natural ownership abilities and entrepreneurial qualities - you’re self-driven and you feel comfortable motivating, leading, and making decisions
• You have great interpersonal and communication skills
• Stack: NodeJS, JS (vanilla, or framework of your choice), Also: Python, Bash, C++ (optional). hardware, woodworking, 3d printing, etc.
• Advantage - Experience working with Raspberry Pi or microcontrollers (Arduino / ESP32 / ESP8266)
