We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing team in Tel Aviv!

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust server-side logic and infrastructure for our web and mobile applications.
• Implement efficient data processing, manipulation, and integration with external services.
• Optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Create and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs) for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Design scalable system architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Implement security measures to protect the application from vulnerabilities and ensure user data privacy.
• Write automated tests and debug issues to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a C++/Python backend engineer or in a related role.
• Experience with server-side frameworks, databases, and RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with the latest backend development trends.
