About the Role:
As a DevOps Engineer at Gloat, you will be part of a dynamic DevOps team not being limited to a single job, but rather working across all areas of the R&D team including multi-cloud, security, database, infrastructure as code, CICD, containerization and more. You will have the freedom to explore and implement the newest technologies while collaborating with some of the best and friendliest people in the industry! What are you waiting for? Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain multiple environments on AWS and Azure with infrastructure as a code approach.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
- Evaluate, select, and implement tools and infrastructure that improve developer productivity and velocity.
- Provide self-service interfaces and tools for developers to deploy and manage containerized applications independently.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze their pain points and bottlenecks to improve developer experience.
- Work with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure.
- Researching and Implementing new technologies to expand engineering capabilities in both production and development environments.
- Interface and work closely with various R&D stakeholders (Architects, Developers, QA).
- Take part in the design and implementation of new services / technologies while making sure that High availability, Monitoring and Security are in place.
- Supporting other DevOps engineers & Developers by providing necessary training, advice and mentorship.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide relevant guidance and recommendations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of DevOps experience responsible for production environments and developers experience.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (Advantage - Jenkins,Argo CD, Github actions)
- Hands-on experience in managing cloud platforms including security, networking, computing (preferably AWS\Azure)
- Experience with microservices architecture based on Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code(IAC) tools such as Helm, Terraform, etc.
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, Ruby, etc.)
- Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in production systems and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience collaborating with development teams to streamline and optimize development processes.
