We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader, who has a passion for taking up innovative technologies, processes, and tools to make constant improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a highly professional Platform Engineering team, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise in the domain.
• Design our Internal Development Platform and Service Catalog, including micro-service generation, service dependencies provisioning, and integration and deployment automation.
• Design and implement tools for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure services based on our software platform.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Operations, and QA, to ensure smooth integration of new features and services.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Platform Engineering, and leverage that knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Principal SW Engineer, Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Manager, leading a team of Platform Engineering/DevOps engineers.
• Strong background leading DevExp or Platform Engineering teams, with hands-on experience in building and managing software tooling for large-scale, distributed systems.
• Expertise in the internals of Spring Boot / Cloud and Kafka Streams, including developing and maintaining libraries on top of those frameworks.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) with the ability to leverage K8S APIs for application provisioning management.
• Skilled in building systems and binaries distribution in, at least, Java and Python.
• Working knowledge in all Kafka APIs internals including Kafka Connect and Streams, as well as Confluent’s Schema Registry.
• Confident around security requirements across the board (Development process, CI/CD, PKI, etc.).
• Highly experienced in monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for both applications and infrastructure.
• Hands-on, solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, NodeJs).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
