Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join a team of creative and experienced engineers working on state of the are web applications and help us design and build a flexible and scalable system that will allow our business to move fast and innovate. You will be expected to show ownership and responsibility for the code you write, but it doesn't stop there. At BeamUP, you are encouraged to think big and help out in other areas as well.

Key focuses:

• Design and implement robust APIs and distributed systems to meet business needs.
• Write high quality code and tests, prototype solutions, analyze bottlenecks and resolve production issues.
• Design and build cutting edge infrastructure solutions to enable developers to deliver reliable features with speed and ease.
• Learn technologies in a wide range of fields, from infrastructure to frontend, to ensure a holistic understanding of the architecture and deliver exceptional results.
• Work closely with product managers, peer engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a hands on software engineer
• 6+ years hands on experience with designing and implementing reliable and secure distributed web applications and Restful APIs.
• Hands on experience in working with cloud technologies and tools such as AWS, Kubernetes.
• Experience working with tools such as Git, CI/CD, Docker.
• Experience with Data Modelling and non-relational databases.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Data engineering solutions such as Spark and DWH.
• Experience with Typescript, Node.JS, Python
• Experience with Terraform, Helm.
