We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Lead, to drive team development efforts toward delivering high quality, 100% AI-based products.

As Studio’s Engineering Team Lead you will also be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of team members, and maintaining high standards of software quality within the team and drive the developments on AI21’s SAAS platform forward.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex features and deploy them to various environments.
• Oversee the team’s software development, culture and processes, which includes frontend, backend and automation developers.
• Build and direct a team of first class software development professionals.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Be a part of the squad’s leadership - build and manage the execution of the product roadmap, working closely with Product and Algorithms professionals.
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 2 years or experience as a Team Lead.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience building full-stack applications.
• Experience with building web applications from conception to production.
• Experience in at least one frontend framework such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.
• Familiarity with modern build pipelines.
• Experience in at least one backend web framework, such as Flask, Django, NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, SpringMVC, etc.
• Experience with developing on top of AWS/Azure/GCP clouds and leveraging tools such as message queues (e.g. SQS), databases (e.g. RDS), Docker containers, Lambda functions, etc.
