Digital Turbine is looking for a skilled Android SDK Engineer passionate about pushing mobile technologies to the limits to join our team of talented engineers. The Engineer will be responsible for designing and building the next generation of our Android SDK, which is already being used by many popular apps and games in the market. The SDK is a product with extreme scale. It generates billions of ad requests and events daily and impacts millions of users by presenting various ad formats using industry standards such as VAST and MRAID.

In addition, this is a unique opportunity to join a small team of engineers working on exciting projects spanning various technologies such as React, Go-lang and various data-related frameworks and tools, empowering internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Playing a major part in designing and implementing an industry-leading SDK used by nearly a billion users daily
• Helping to build and maintain SDK-adjacent systems, including an SDK analytics big-data system and multiple K8s-based microservices
• Producing clean, scalable, testable, and high-quality code
• Working as part of a dynamic team with high standards, delivering quality products to customers
• Collaborating globally with product managers, software engineers, support teams, and QA/Automation Engineers

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in Android Software Engineering
• Experienced with the Java programming language
• Comfortable with asynchronous code and multi-threading
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or a veteran of one of the military’s technology units
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, and design skills - strong advantage
• SDK development experience - an advantage
• Kotlin/JavaScript experience - an advantage
